Heard about this place when doing my helmsman course with the Narrowboat Skills Centre. Decided to take a look and moved my boat here shortly afterwards. No regrets at all, it’s a lovely place to moor – friendly people, helpful staff, especially David & Gary and a great social scene. Loving it.
Inspiring. Each time I visit, so much has changed and so much work has been done. A really peaceful place to moor up with intelligent human-centred design.
Wow! – what a change from my old marina, fantastic facilities, really helpful staff and a wonderful location. What’s not to like!
I had to make a botched repair on my boat exhaust a few weeks ago. Gary and Dave welded it up and relagged it – looks really smart, they cleaned up after themselves first class job thanks guys.
Just moved onto this marina but loving it. It’s very peaceful. Everyone has been most helpful and welcoming. A special mention for Gary the marina manager, he has been great. Although the marina is large, it doesn’t feel like that as the planting helps to break up the separate mooring areas. I would certainly recommend this as a place to stay.
Wasnt concentrating properly and bent the skeg (bottom rudder support) on my boat whist in Foxton Locks.
Mike and Gary soon had the boat out of the water sorted the problem no drama and back in the water in no time, also offered advice regarding a paint problem.Would highly recommend them. The marina is also coming along nicely the planting will soon look as if its been here for years
North Kilworth marina has replaced my wood burning stove, which included replacing the flue and adapting some wiring, in addition replaced my shower pump with a Gulper. I’m extremely pleased with their quality of work, attitude and helpfulness, which is why I will be using them again in the future. Reasonably priced and I would recommend them to anyone
Looking fantastic can’t wait for our boat to be ready and join you.
Mooring booked. Boat being built. Retirement looming, happy days.
